117 and I still love him more than nearly everyone. I'd sell the souls of my friends to have "You Bet Your Life" on DVD. And just for today I went out and bought "An Evening With Groucho" on vinyl.
So happy birthday, Groucho. Here's hoping that wherever you are there are plenty of good cigars, the women are hot and the drinks are cold.

Did you know that they ask Groucho to run for Governor of California, but when he asked how much it paid (this was in the late '50 or early '60s) he said he couldn't afford it because he was getting $100k a week. Also, check out the Dick Caveat interview with Groucho you'll love it.
I've seen the Dick Cavett interview and I did love it. Dick also introduces him on "An Evening With Groucho".
I hadn't heard that they'd asked him to run, but it would have been too great if he'd done it and actually won. Governor Groucho has a nice ring to it.
