A couple of years ago, I was living with my roommate in her house. She works at a homeless shelter. Bugs are normal, to her. I tolerated the lice and ringworm scares for a couple of years, but then one day she let one of the residents come over and do their laundry. They brought bed bugs with them, and within a couple of weeks the house was infested. The guy in the article is right. You feel so grossed out cause they're feeding on you. I was especially upset to think they might be feeding off my cat! I had to freeze all of my belongings that couldn't be washed (like my 31 year old Teddy Bear) for a month to kill the larvae. My bed had to be thrown out. I moved out a month later. I couldn't even bear to sit on the couch in that house anymore. YUCK! I feel gross even thinking about it.
Wow.... You'll excuse me if I avoid any kind of contact with you for a while. And I don't know about coming to your house either. ew. I'm going to go have a shower now... I feel so dirty.
