It's Here!

Well, it's finally here. I was actually starting to think it would never come. But we finally have snow.
I know I'm probably the only person who lives in a place that gets snow to be cheering its arrival, but I'm really kind of glad it's here. Besides, I do much better in the cold than the blistering heat. Proabably has something to do with my black heart.
I'll just sit here quietly and wait for the angry mob of winter hating people to show up and rip me to shreds. (That is, if they can get their cars started.)

Snow is great & so beautiful when it first falls but not so when it gets churned up on the roads & roadsides. yech!

I'm in north cali(north of san francisco)and we only get snow on the hilltops although on rare occasions we've had some snow fall in the city I live in. It never builds up though, which is fine by me.

Well, I had heard it's supposed to go down to around -41c taday and I wish I could say that's unusual. It's only going to get colder from here and it'll stay this way until April... if we're lucky.

The year we went to LA for Christmas it snowed. It melted as soon as it hit the ground but it was still weird as hell.

UGH, way too cold for me! that's why i'm in cali now, perfect weather for me here. Used to live in Portland OR & it snows, gets cold there too but mostly just f'n rains or is cloudy 9 months outta the year.

Jason, I remember when it snowed in LA, that was a weird winter. If i recall correctly San Francisco got snow(which is unusual too since it's on the ocean & bay)as we did here.

Are you sure it was snowing in LA or was the smog just solidifying? I would imagine it wasn't even white, probably grey-green.
